ABOUT
I am a 25 year old designer from Nottingham with an eye for detail and a passion for all things creative. I enjoy design, art, photography and music.
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2006 with a BA (Hons) degree in Product Design and started a career in the creative industry when I worked for Vale Garden Houses as a photographer and designer. I was responsible for organising and taking photoshoots of former clients of Vale to produce their brochure for potential clients. This also involved editing and photo manipulation on the Adobe suite.
I then moved on to working for Citrus Tree Media initially in a Grapic Design and Web design role, but ended up learning so much more as it is a small company I had an involvement in many aspects of the company such as accounts, client contact and questions and organising several projects at once for deadlines and site launches.
Working for Citrus Tree Media, I was able to expand my skills dramatically in Graphic Design and design for web and was able to learn some Flash and other skills that were previously outside my comfort zone.
I am a keen photographer and have taken many photos that have been printed in magazines and on websites. I am also a keen musician and am in a couple of bands, one of which has been signed to a label and we are awaiting the release of a 3 track EP. I recently started combining my love for music and photography by taking band promotional photos and designing artwork for bands.
Other than that, I enjoy seeing bands, travelling and watching movies. I have a (strange) love for horror movies!
